Hi, I am flashing my LG g3 d850 back to stock because I had downloaded an ota (lollipop 5.0) update by accident and it had killed my root. I had backed it up with titanium back up using the "all user apps + system data" option before the up date after I had rooted it.

But the backup is on my internal storage. And I just added a micro SD card to my phone after I backed it up (didn't have one at the time) and after my root got destroyed. And now I have no root privileges to use titanium back up.

My questions are after I flash to stock would the backup interfere with the stock version of my LG G3? Or is the contents of the back up only contacts, settings, WiFi passwords, and apps etc? Does this include pictures? And also do I need to move the Titanium Backup file to my external micro SD and just execute the file after I flash back to stock? Or do I need to root and download titanium again to access the backup?

After I flash I will get twrp and back up with that. I'm kinda a noob at this, sorry for some of these questions.
    Thanks.

When you flash the kdz file that will return you to stock you will lose everything on your internal storage so i suggest moving everything you need on your sd card, including the Titanium backup folder.

I'm having to do the Tot method because apparently there ain't any kdz file for D850.
Also do you think the back up would interfere with the stock version?
    Thanks for the help.

Thierry is correct. Absolutely move that backup to the external card.

TWRP backups are superior to Titanium Backup when talking about system backups. But it's great for individual apps.
