I'm going to assume a few things first. You need to make sure you have the LG G3 drivers and adb fully working for this to work. Since there are plenty of tutorials easliy found with Google, I'll leave that to you to get working. If you don't have that part yet, just stop here and come back when you do. With that being said, here we go from the top.
If you took the 35b update you have to tot flash back to 10b firmware.

Once you're on 10b, then your good to do whatever you need. Since 10b is compatible with Stump, go ahead and use it.

You should now be rooted and ready to install a custom recovery. Go ahead and download TWRP from here
[RECOVERY] [G3] [F2FS] TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch re… | LG G3
and install it following there instructions.
A. With stock recovery (Need ADB): 1. Download & extract zip 2. Move recovery.img to internal storage. 3. Open terminal window/command prompt to execute following commands:
adb shell su dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery exit exit adb reboot recovery
B. I'm a fan of command line (kind of a control freak) but you can try to use Flashify from the Play Store to flash the TWRP recovery.img file.
Then clean flash Jasmine rom 9.0 from here

What you'll end up with is a phone with 35b modem and 5.1.1 android version with root and twrp. If you follow this order and read, read, read, you'll be fine. But of course don't hold me responsible if your phone goes into nuclear meltdown.
edited for corrected instruction and clarity Apologies to OP and everyone else who tried to follow my instructions earlier. I misread his question and gave instructions based off of earlier firmware. If anyone would like to correct me or clarify my post, please speak up.
