G3 Headphone Jack flaky as heck

Well I was lifting a few boxes and my phone cord got caught and put stress on the phone jack. Ever since it's just been so flaky for me that I'm about ready to replace it or try to find some cheap decent bluetooth alternatives.

Anyone else encounter and solve this issue? Wit the slightest touch or pressure my podcasts/music will pause and sometimes playback will come out of the speaker while the headphones are firmly inserted. Any tips or ideas would be great.
(I've tried several different headphones - I have considered disabling the media button to stop the constant pausing, but this won't help with the phone reverting to the speaker when things get jostled)

I have the same issue. I used different ear phones. I get the same thing as you do

Really frustrating as one of my primary used for my phone is music and podcasts.

I was actually able to improve things by blowing out the port with compressed air then cleaning with isopropyl and a Q-tip. Still happens, but not as easily now.

There's always been background static etc. I hope LG has improved things in this area.
