Pokemon Go is making my phone HOT

Anyone else experiencing this or is it just because of the warm weather? I know the game requires the screen to stay on (most of the time), the GPS and Location connectivity.

Loving the game BTW just a bit worried that the inside of my phone is cooking lol

I think generally a lot of phones will get warm or hot. It's a game that uses a lot of resources. When we play on the hub's Note 5 it gets pretty warm. I do think you have a point about the warm weather too though.

I think I've seen other forums make the same claim. Hopefully it's not causing any harm.

My turbo is the same way. As is an older moto. Just ordered two g3 for the kids for Pokémon so I think this is an issue across the board.

Same on most phones.. Anything that causes screen to stay on and excessive battery drain heats the phone
