    New LG G4 H815 Quad Core 16MP 5 5'' 4G LTE Factory Unlocked 32GB Black Phone | eBay

Does it seem legit? Shipping by the 30th with the black leather back for $700? I may have to pull the trigger on this......

Yes, but the question is if it will work on your carrier http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...equencies.html

    ^^^Agreed.
Also, it looks okay, but caveat emptor. Since you are the prospective emptor, I think that $700-worth of caveat is called for.

While the seller has perfect feedback, I would be hesitant to buy a device from Singapore. They have indicated they accept returns but what if you get a dud? I would wait a few extra days and get it locally. And aren't the US carriers at about 600 beans?

US carriers haven't released any pricing or availability yet, though speculation is that the plastic model will retail for $650, making this a pretty fair buy for the leather.

According to the listing it will work on AT&T or Tmo and the 4g bands are in line with AT&T (band 5, if I'm not mistaken).

All arguments aside, I ordered one.

I'll let you know when I get it how it works out for me.

Here's a good thread re: what LTE bands you can connect to:

If you have to question it .. I wouldn't do it. Not worth taking a risk on something that expensive.

The Ebay listing says pre-order - shipping May 30 so time to reconsider.

This is true. Someone had to do it, it's just too damn tempting.

Yes, they have via their contests. Actual retail value is 600.

EDIT: I'm sure that price is for the plastic version.

Either you didn't read it right or they changed it. No where does it say 4G or LTE! Under features it clearly states 3G, and than under networks it says AT&T 3G and T-Mobile 2G.

This phone according to the seller will not run 4G LTE here in the US!

I'm just saying order at your own risk. Even though it states it had the bands needed to be used the seller never states it will work on AT&T or T-mobile 4G networks. So if for some reason it doesn't the seller owes the buying nothing.

Agreed - order at your own risk. The seller does include the network and frequency information that I posted (#13 above), which is a super-set of the info in your screenshot.

Regarding the product details section on eBay, that's all canned information and may not be accurate for something this new. Anyone that starts a new auction and selects the info to display can see what I'm talking about. The only thing you can rely on in this situation is what the seller puts down in the item description. The best you can do is take note of the exact part number being sold and confirm compatibility elsewhere.

Well, it says "out of stock" now, so a few people decided to dive in. This is the same one I was looking at a few days ago. I think the seller is legit but they were unable to clarify the 3G / 4G issue to a degree that worked for me.
