Need Help. Don't Know Where to Activate

I have an unlocked LG G4 (LG-H815) in the US and although I can set the phone specifically to Verizon's network, Verizon cannot activate this phone because the IMEI isn't recognizable in their system. Unfortunately, the SIM in my Droid Turbo is smaller than the one that goes in the G4.

So I have a brand new $700 phone ready to go but I can't figure out a way to activate it.

Any suggestions?

I think the only thing you can do is change carriers. Verizon won't activate it, due to it not being in their system. Even then, you may only get 3G as the LTE bands are not compatible with USA bands.
