Once you turn your G4 rotate into landscape mode and see what it get. Look at left side with just non landscape mode and abilities to see good with any sunglasses. But why can't see nothing **** when rotate to landscape mode, the right side.
Look carefully

I may be misunderstanding. But if using polarized sunglasses, the screen will turn dark/black with the phone held in landscape mode.

The polarized light from the screen is not in the direction that your polarized sunglasses will allow through. It's a bummer, but kind of the nature of the beast with an LCD screen.

An OLED screen does not have this issue, and can be viewed in any orientation with polarized glasses.

And what funny is Samsung GS6 screen to landscape mode goes look fantastically. Naturally, they choose Amoled technology panel for their S series

Been that way since the G2, have gotten used to it.
