Does the G4 even have a "driving mode"? My Lumia 925 would read incoming texts over my Milan's Bluetooth but the G4 does not... is this something that I'll need to use an app for (is there even an app out there for this)?
Thanks!
I use Car Dashdroid. Great car mode app with tons of features. Haven't found any native car mode on the G4, but I wouldn't have used it anyway, so no loss for me.
I wasn't aware there is something called a "driving mode" on the G4?
Go to conversations - settings- driving mode for LG g4. Sends Auto reply to messages while driving

not seeing that in the default messaging app.
I believe the phone goes into driving mode automatically when it senses you're moving more than a certain speed. I use Car Dock Ultra and it also has SMS driving messages.
I am using the Verizon Message+ app. For anyone using that app for your SMS, to turn Driving Mode on/off, go to conversations, click the hamburger menu in the upper left, the driving mode on/off slider will appear.
driving mode can actually be activated by a carefully placed magnet. Apparently there is a sensor in the phone that is triggered by a magnet that launches driving mode - in my case, CarHome Ultra app. I have a magnetic car mount that holds my phone in place and it will sometimes trigger the mode if I miss the metal bracket on the back of my case.
