Is the LG G4 more of the same? Will it be positive change?

I got 4 hours sot mostly on my g3, I seem to get closer to 5 on my g4.
You should try to optimize your g3 to get closer to 4 hours

The G4 battery performance is an improvement over that of the G3, but one user's experience is not necessarily typical. Perhaps you live in an area of poor signal, for example, which will make your battery life worse than the average. But, all other things being equal, you should notice improved battery over the G3.

Not knowing what your situation is, this is an impossible question to answer. Did you have a(n) App that misbehaved? Screen brightness turned up? Bad battery? Bad G3? There are way too many variables to figure out what your G3 problem was, or if there wasn't a problem, you just killed the phone that fast.

So, if there was nothing wrong with your G3 and it wouldn't last a full day, then IMO the G4 will not last a full day either. I got a little bit longer life out the G4, but not much. It's pretty much on par with my G3.

I'm not getting nearly the SOT that others have, but when I have my screen on, I'm almost always playing Words with Friends. I've gotten as low as 2 hours SOT.

3.5hrs SoT here, and thats with lots of pandora streaming so not sure if thats a fair assessment of battery life since pandora doesnt use the screen. Very happy overall.

BTW, my G3 averaged 4 hours.
