No need to mount the G4 in front of an air vent so that it charges, streams music and does navigation without over heating. Just buy a new Chevy.

If you are using it for turn by turn navigation,then that placement is horrible. Not only is it facing straight up, but it looks to be in front of the shifter, way below the driver's normal line of sight

Btw, one of my cars which is now 9 years old has an air diffuser perfectly situated to blow air to the cell phone. More practical too to have the smartphone on the dash when using turn by turn navigation

I don't use the map for turn by turn navigation, I let it talk to me.
