    So, LG apparently has been making a pretty beastly chipset all this while.

    It's called the LG NUCLUN 2 (no idea why they called it that) and it seems to have a quad-core ARM Cortex A72 clocked at 2.1GHz paired with a quad-core ARM Cortex A53 clocked at 1.5GHz.

    Due to its usage of the A72, it beats the 7420 by a slight but somewhat significant margin. It's a 16nm chip, though, compared to the 7420's 14nm fabrication process.

    We'll see if this ends up in the LG G4 Pro.

    They've also secured the right to trademarks in the G series up to and including G9, so we've got some interesting stuff to look forward to.
