I've inadvertently deleted several conversation threads, due to the gesture interface on my G4's stock messaging app. After looking thru the settings on it, I can't find a way to disable the gestures. Are there any solutions to this? Is it possible to recover the conversations?

I've tried Textra in the past, but wasn't all that impressed.

Thank you and have a great Labor Day and end to your summer

I see, when I swipe to delete, a long lasting opportunity to undo... do you not see that?

Maybe my screen is extremely sensitive, or I'm clumsy, but I seem to perform a gesture that deletes when I want to undo.
