Does that happen on any wi-fi network, or just your home network? Does wi-fi work for everything else ok?

If it's only at home, try rebooting the router by unplugging its power for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in again.

I'm getting astrange issue where my emails only update at home on WiFi. When I'm at work all day, either on WiFi of 4G, my email says the last update was from early in the morning when I was at home. Pulling down and letting go activates "Updating", but it just returns to the last, morning update as the most current. When I get home, it updates properly. My phone is possessed.

Only been home really, I reset modem and router and same issue. Kids iphones work fine. This started right after the update.

I am using the stock email app and no trouble after the Verizon update with any of my email servers. I take it you tried deleting the account and setting it up again? Mary

Review this guide and try some of the other tips: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...-problems.html

Also, is web access in general affected on your phone when using your home wi-fi, or just the email app?

I'm having the same issue with almost all notifications. I have to turn off WiFi to get my notifications to come through. This seems similar to what happened with the G3 when it first got Lollipop. Took them a few weeks to roll out a fix for it. It's like deja vu.

    From my G4 or GPad

Same exact problem here. No notifications while on wifi. Have to turn off wifi to sync. Same thing happened on my G3 (which was eventually fixed)

A lot of people having the same problem in the update thread. Email and push notifications don't work over wifi

It seems this issue is related to ipv6 bug in Android.... Use the following and see if it works:

You can fix this issue without root by using the app DNSet from the Google Play store. You hit 1 button (the one and only button), and it turns off IPv6, and problem solved.

Seems the DNSet works, but adds yet another icon to the status bar. No thanks.
