Yet another LG G4 Wifi issue, no wifi after sleep

I can not immediately use the wifi when waking my Verizon LG G4 on my home network (AT&T Uverse), the phone works fine on other wifi networks. Regardless of the app, ESPN, Google Play, Chrome.. the wifi takes 30 to 60-seconds to connect. When using Chrome I usually get some sort of error:
- DNS_Probe_finished_no_internet
- Err_address_unreachable
- Err_name_not_resolved.
Other programs give me a connection timed out error. Other devices on the network, such as the Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Amazon Echo have no issues.

I've searched the forums high and low and have tried the following fixes to no avail.
- Keep wifi on when screen is off =Yes
- Use IPv4, in lieu of IPv6
- DNSet
- Factory reset router
- Change wifi channel
- Wipe partition cache
- Avoid bad wifi connections = unchecked

Once the wifi starts working it's fine till the screen is turned off. Even after the screen is off for a second, I'll have to wait a minute before the wifi establishes itself again.

At the very least I would like to know if this is a LG G4 issue, or AT&T Uverse gateway issue.

TIA!!

[SOLVED]
I reset the setting on the phone and now the wifi stays connected even after locking/sleeping the phone.
- Settings
- Backup & reset
- Reset settings

Good luck
