Why won't my screen wake up? [LG G4]

Just got a lgg4 from someone and it seemed fine. I put a tempered glass screen protector on it and now it seems like it is having trouble waking up.

Waking up at anytime? Or, just after a phone call?

If the latter, then the screen protector could be interfering with the proximity detector. Not sure where it is located on the G4...

I think you are using marshmellow and if so try waking up the phone in a place where there is bright light. I have the same problem i think. Mine wont wake up in a dark/low lit room. Let me know if your issue is fixed if decide to remove the glass protector.
