Supercell games overheating phone?

I was playing clash royal and my phone's temperature reached well over 100 degrees farienhiet this was also the case for the HTC one m7, is this due to poor optimization or is the LG g4 really struggling with this game?

Modern phones have fairly strong processors, and they will run games as fast as they can. So the heating is more about that than how a game is optimized.

yesterday I did change to my account lvl 5 from lvl 8 (clash royale) but now I try to back to my account lvl 8 but it cant load

I did try to recover my game
but supercell didnt anwser me.

I play clash royale and clash of clans.. My g4 gets really hot with coc and battery discharge really fast. With cr I haven't feel that happening, although maybe is because I got used to the heat from coc.

Data and Graphically complex games will heat your phone up mine gets to at least 123F but never any hotter then that when I'm done playing it will cool down to normal

Mine gets crazy hot after playing Clash Royale, which leads to battery drain.
