I recently bought an iPosible 6700mAh Battery (yes its spelled like that) to extend my battery life because i dont always have access to a charger and desperately needed to extend my battery life. When i turn my phone it gives me an "invalid battery" message and shuts off. Then i try to charge it and it reads that it charged until i disconnect it and ry to turn it on and it says the "invalid battery" message turns off then says 0%. Is there any way i can get the phone to accept my battery, maybea bypass of sorts please help.

Welcome. :)

I doubt that there is, but I'll request a thread move to the LG G4 forums for possible suggestions.

I've never heard of this kind of issue with aftermarket batteries. They've always been plug and play. I'd suggest contacting the seller because you may have a defective one.

I had to throw out several third party batteries because of this issue and I occasionally have this problem temporarily on LG made batteries!
