Hi ive just received my lg g5 and when ive pulled the module out the battery is quite wobbly i can move it forward and backwards a little bit, its not solid in the module, is this right or have i got a dodgy one? Thanks

On mine, it wobbles slightly if I hold the chin and shake it. I assumed is by design for getting it off. It certainly doesn't come off without a fight and I don't hear any wobble in the phone. I assume the phone itself prevents that.
Once it's inside it's seated and you should have no worries.

This was the only thing I had questions about. I love the idea of the removable battery, but questioned its solidness, based on how its removed/replaced.
When you remove the module, the battery can wobble if you shake it, but that's to be expected as it's a tall battery secured only at the base. Once it's in the phone it doesn't move and it's secure. It's also very difficult to actually remove the battery from the module - it takes a few turns to get it off.
I actually forget that the phone has a removable base, I think I've only ever removed it twice.
