Only able to record video in selfie mode

Hi,

A friend of mine has an LG G5 and when he tries to use the video camera, it will only use the front facing camera, so it appears that he is taking video of himself. I have had a look at the settings and am unable to find how to sort this out. When tapping on the camera icon to use the rear facing camera the option for video has disappeared.

Any help would be good as my friend goes home to Africa in the next few days.

Follow this to switch the camera to the rear (or back to the front): Switch Cameras - LG G5 User Guide

If that doesn't work you should try opening system settings > applications > camera > clear cache.

Simply hit flash button if ur using front camera that takes it right out of selfie
