LG G5: Switched carriers and texts no longer can send/receive pics, group texts, or Multi media.

Android Central Question

My phone is less than 2 years old. Bought it at an ATT store for $650. It has the ATT logo on the back. I switched carriers. Email and messenger work, but my texts can only send/receive short texts. No long texts, pics, group texts, or any multi media messages work on the "text". ATT say it is no longer their problem. T-Mobile says that's the way it is. My son has an I-phone, and it switched easily.
Help!

You need the correct T-Mobile MMS settings. Your son's iPhone didn't just 'switch' if he's just using iMessage (which is an entirely different protocol than SMS/MMS). T-Mobile should be able to help, and I suggest you visit a store rather than trying to get it over the phone (way friendlier that way). I'm sure you can find the settings online, too, but a store rep is always easier.
