Android oreo lg5

When is the lgg5 oreo update available?
I have a movie app that doesnt work with the 7.0.

I have asked LG security about this and when they were rolling out more monthy security patches since the rs988 has not had any update since january 2018. They said they were working on 8.0 but no time line

I updated it 2 days ago (GH850, no brand, no hard reset) and everything is working well so far.
The only thing that has not changed from previous version is wi-fi detection.
At home I have an Ubiquiti Lite (dual band) access point and in the room where the signal is the weaker, my G5 shows "weak signal" and "2 Mbps" (2.4 GHz band, 5 GHz is not detected) but P9 Lite of my daughter shows "good signal" and "24 Mbps" !
