Stick TWRP without power+volume up - FAILED (remote: unknown command)

Greetings,

The volume down button of my H850 is damaged, so I am unable to enter recovery mode and boot TWRP using the buttons. My aim is to stick TWRP to the recovery partition, so I have to boot into it after flashing. The phone's bootloader is unlocked.

When in fastboot mode I try to boot directly from the image I get this:

Anyone knows how to solve that "unknown command" issue?

Did you download it from https://dl.twrp.me/h850/ and check the download with the PGP key?

Thanks for your reply. I always download from there to make sure I have the latest official version... I only checked the version 3.2.3-2 checksum (SHA256 and MD5) and it's OK. I also tried a bunch of other versions... all failed to boot:

I'd contact TWRP (post the problem at https://github.com/TeamWin/Team-Win-Recovery-Project/issues). I've never had any version of TWRP fail due to a bug on any phone, but looking at that page, they do get them. I guess the perfect developer hasn't been born yer. (I used to joke that I was a bug developer, and got paid to find and fix my own bugs.)
