LG G6 Intermittent problem. Incoming calls divert to Voicemail without any warning?

Hello.
I'm experiencing an intermittent issue with the LG G6.

Without warning callers cannot get through.
After a silent period the call goes directly to Voicemail.
This occurs intermittently without warning.

To overcome it the user must call the voicemail number and reset the call diversion option.

We have two examples of this phone (LG G6 H871).
Both have the same issue.
Each phones is connected to a different Australian carrier (TPG & Amaysim) so I don't believe it's a carrier issue.

Can this be overcome?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure Do Not Disturb is turned off, and not scheduled to turn on at certain times?

Can also try monitoring it in safe mode
