Hey all has there been any screen burn in since you had the phone with the Lg 6 ?

I have a upgrade on my T-mobile account and have Samsung S7 and right now it has really bad screen burn in. So if I upgrade too the LG g6 I don't want too have the same issue

It's an IPS LCD, shouldn't burn in ever.

IPS LCD cannot burn in. You can even check store demo displays with phones that have LCD displays, not a single burn in visible. This is why PC monitors still have LCD technology. I'm kinda happy with my V20 IPS LCD display because I can be on my phone all day long and not worry about burn in. On my old S7, I always limit my screen time for the fear of burn in.

My LG G6 has a screen burn in from using Pokemon Go. The round poke ball circle that appears at the bottom of main screen in the game is burnt on the screen. I only notice it in a white or light background.

Sadly my phone is only 2 months old too.

Well, I don't want to doubt your experience, but an IPS LCD cannot "burn-in" as you put it, that is strictly an oled/amoled/p-oled problem.
It may be possible that you are seeing "image retention", which is a completely different problem and is not permanent and will reverse itself if you stop playing Pokemon go long enough ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yep, bought my LG G6 around April 23rd, 2017 from T-Mobile - today, I noticed the good ole LG burn-in. It's on the right side of the screen near the top 1/3 of the screen. about 1/4"wide by 1.25" tall. Yellow. Seen best on solid background screens.

This is the classic LG eff-up.

I had approximately 8-10 LG G2s with this exact issue. [With Verizon]
I also had at least 6 LG V10s with this exact issue. [With Verizon]

I thought this issue was rectified, but apparently not. I will never own another LG phone after this.

If I can save anyone else some hassle, I suggest NEVER purchasing an LG mobile device. I love the look, feel, designs and operating systems (as they stay close to Android) - AND cameras are fantastic...but they are crappy machines with even worse customer service.
When troubleshooting with all those Verizon phones, big red swapped the phones with no trouble - phone for phone. After 4, I said I wanted to switch to a different handset entirely as I was sick of the same issue since it was device related. They forced me to call LG about it. LGs only fix was to mail them the phone [at my cost], they provide a diagnosis to me, and they either fix it or send me a new device. Oh...and they expect you to have either, 1. a backup phone or 2. go without a phone for this whole process.

Most LG calls are routed to Bangladesh only (or in that region). None of them, including the "supervisors" follow through on anything other than providing an address to send the device for repair. For all of your troubles, the most I've ever received was "free shipping labels" which ship to some place in Texas. For my LG Urbane 2 smart watch that I sent in for a silicone band replacement (due to factory defect)...they took weeks to "diagnose" the issue, when I told them to swap the band at my cost, it took them another few weeks. After me calling daily to Bangladesh and getting nowhere, I blew up LGs Facebook page and finally found out they had lost my watch in their facility. I threatened to report them to Texas Police for theft of goods exceeding $400 - they sent me a spanking new watch within 4 days.
That was the only success I've ever had with them.

I've also had multiple LG produced Nexus 5Xs (that were crap and had bootloop issues).
I heard the new Pixel 2s that have the LG produced screens are having trouble as well.

    Buyer beware.

    I had a G2, a G3, a G4 (skipped G5), and now a G6. Personally, I have not had any burn in issues with any of them.

Wife had a G2... We both have the G6... Friends have has G2 and G5... None with burn in issues. Glad I have not been super unlucky as the person who has gone through about 15 or more various LG phones with burn in issues.
