Do you get any better sound or reception through wifi calling? Does it decrease your home bandwidth (as in I have multiple devices on my wifi already)?

    Thanks!

It's not better.... Just convenient when you have poor or no signal.

I haven't used the G6 yet but, in my experience, wifi calling is usually worse than non-wifi calling. Calls tend to cut in and out, and I generally feel the voice quality is worse.

WiFi calling is primarily to give you better coverage indoors, not for better quality.

I turn off WiFi calling immediately. It's terrible.

I've never used it. I guess its it's more to avoid Roaming?

I did activate on my G6 just now.

Exactly. Your call quality also depends on your router. There may be ports that need to be open or priority for bandwith that needs to be setup if you have issues.

In general it's been ok for me when it has been used. Think of it as a back up.

I agree.... I use it at my brother's house which is in weak spot as well as other similar situations.

I get great signal where I live and work so disable WiFi calling on all my phones. It's not better but comes handy to make calls (which I don't do many) if you have poor cell signal and good WiFi connection

As others have said it is really meant for using if you have a bad connection but have WiFi you could use for calls. I don't use it since Verizon works well for me at home / around town. I haven't found a spot yet that I need it.

People say that when I'm on wi-fi calling I tend to break up and sound bad. I've never turned it on after using it a few times. I only use it when there's no signal.
