Once you say its a "fact", well then you get to prove that. In the case of phones, the only "fact" is everyone chooses what they deem the best. Even some of the reviewers on this site need to stay away from the word "fact" considering they are giving their opinion.
lol, I thought this got settled. The S8 having a more accurate display is a fact. It is literally the most accurate display on any Android device. This is one of the facts that you stated was my opinion. It isn't; it's a reflection of a mathematical statement indicating that the average variance from set values on the S8 display is less than the average variance on all other Android devices to date. The math does not take into account whether or not any person or group of people prefers one over another.
The camera ranking is interesting, because opinions are the biggest problem in the business. Example here:
LG G6 emerges victorious over the Galaxy S8, iPhone 7, and the Pixel in our blind comparison
Now, we know that the Pixel XL is a better camera, objectively, than the S8 and the iPhone 7 and we know that the S8 is better than the iPhone 7. However people voted different, because they a) don't have any specialized equipment to test the photos, b) don't have access to the actual scene or a perfect reproduction of it c) don't know anything about photography, when compared to actual experts who test cameras for a living and d) are trying to eyeball the differences in cameras that are way too close to call without the equipment referenced in a.
We don't have an objective analysis of the G6 yet, however we do have a preponderance of sites stating that it comes close to the S8 in quality, but doesn't quite match it. But all of those sites... have all 4 of the aforementioned problems, with just a little bit more knowledge and context than the average person... but not much. So the probability is extremely high that the G6 ranks above the iPhone 7 and below the S8.
Once the official results are published, then we will know the answer to which one is objectively better - and that debate is over. The part that isn't over, is which one each person will choose that they prefer, which is your point - but that won't change which one is actually better. Better is a statement of the mathematical ranking, while preferred is a statement of each consumer's desires matched up to their perceptions.
Hope that sheds some light into the usage of the word "fact" as intended - to represent verifiable objective statements that can be proven with scientific evidence which is not subject to any person's or organizations interpretation or preferences.
