Spontaneous glass cracking.

Yep. It happens.

Never dropped my phone, always in a case, only in my pocket with nothing else. Looked at the rear of the phone a couple weeks ago and the glass around the cameras and flash was completely cracked. Looks to have spiderwebbed out from the flash. Did a little research, and I'm not the only one.

That said, can these be replaced, or just cleaned up and removed?

If I thought I'd get anywhere, I'd bring it up with LG and my carrier....

Yeah i heared about that issue.. Must say been pretty lucky my phone droped like 20+ times, i changed like 3-4 temperred glasses, but luckily haven't damage back camera glass or any part of the phone so far have it for 8-9 months. I think it can be replaced and i can suggest you i think nillkin has with some temperred glasses included back camera lens temperred glass. Just for future measures.
