im in mid EU. Providers phone.

2.7 gb's heavy. I will write my opinion here, curently at 62% download.

Mostly subtle UI changes, feels responsive and smooth though. Hopefully standby battery improvements.

Finally comfort view can be scheduled, very welcomed addition.

No portrait mode unfortunately, not from what I can see.

Bummer... Just tried for T-Mo US G6, but says I'm up to date. Knew it was a long shot, but thought I'd try.

I cant belive it got sooner in Europe than in Us, that's a bit odd.. I made a video of new things in oreo, but after i uploaded it i realized that video quality is bad

So new features in camera, smoothness is now improved, idk bades for upc notifications, slide from top screen for google search, some gaming mode, as all know you can hide buttons know, but since its ips screen then its kinda well not important to me but for browsing is okay. And i don't know basicly "same" things, phone seems lots of faster. I will see how will battery behave i havent had issue with having up to 8h of SoT mostly was between 5-7h.

I don't like the new battery usage screen. I can't seem to find a way of quickly seeing how much battery individual apps are using.

Tapping on the apps category does nothing. Can someone else confirm this is the case?

How are you getting onto the first screen? I can only see the screen in your second screenshot.

Found it, my bad. It was just me being dumb lol. I was accessing the battery screen from the home screen shortcut. Going through settings takes you to the detailed screen.

Looks like I may jump to the G7 early and never get to play with Oreo on my G6.

I'm going to hang on to my G6 for a bit longer. It won't be too long before the G7 price is heavily reduced, I learned that the hard way with the G6.

I dont like the g7 notch, design okay. But it's not worthy. Maybe next year with g8.

To use the PIP (Picture in picture) mode. You simple tap the home button whilst watch a supported video.

I noticed YouTube will only work if you have a YouTube Red subscription. I haven't found any apps on my phone that support it, so it doesn't look like something I'll be using.
