Ad and Odd pop up on missed call ect.

Anyone else have this happen? Did a factory reset on my ladies phone cause it was running pretty rough. This "pop up" from a missed call started right after getting it up and running. Also a pop up when charging ect. Seems to be only system apps doing it. Allo, messenger, Gmail all behave normally. Am I stupid and missing some setting...?

Nevermind, sorted. it was a horoscope app called horoscope+ apparently don't install that.

A good example of the crap apps can foist on us.

My story is more benign. My last phone kept going on speakerphone mode when I was on calls. It made calls infuriating. I thought it was the phone itself.

It was due to an automation app. I'd had it for a long time but there was a recent update that included a feature that was supposed to automate turning on speakerphone when you did not have the phone up to your ear. Might have been nice if it worked well, It just didn't.
