"OK GOOGLE" will not stay on.

I bought a new in sealed box G6 / US997 carrier unlocked.
I turn on ACCESS WITH VOICE MATCH, say my 4 "ok google" voice samples, hit the FINISH button and it goes back to the previous screen and the on button is off again.
I've tried clearing data in the GOOGLE app, the GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES app and the GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES FOR QUICK APPS app and the restarting phone. I've tried setting up all of the voice settings first, but all this leads to no joy.

Is there a fix for this?

I contacted LG, via email, but I don't expect a solution.

I barely ever use it because it's SOOOOOOO......SLOOOOOOOOWWWWWW

look for the thread titled "why can't i turn on "Access with voice match"?". I had the same problem and the solution in that thread fixed it. I can't copy and paste the thread. the AC app doesn't seem to let me do it. hope this helps
