I have been using these apps which log your exercise routines using GPS for several years.
My Mi Fit app was stopping the GPS signal part way through the exercise, so I switched to Sportstracker which I had used for years & still get the problem.
Today I went out with 2 phones, both using the same app (Sportstracker)
The old Samsung S5 correctly tells me I cycled 47.23km and shows the map of the entire route.
The LG G7 tells me I did 32.42km, as it stopped the GPS trace part way through. See picture. This is supposed to be a circular route going anti-clockwise, but after cycling through Woverton, the GPS gives up.
I thought it was the phone switching off the GPS to save power, however google maps correctly shows the whole route cycled on the LG G7.
Has anyone else experienced this problem ?
I have: BATTERY SAVER:OFF
I have tried adding "Power Saving Exclusions" for the Sportstracking apps.
