    The LED notification is back-screenshot_2018-05-21-07-27-13.jpg

Nice to know you have the classic multicolor LED notifications plus the optional AOD. What do you think about it?

Very cool! I find notification LEDs to be far more useful than AOD!

I do miss the LED sometimes. I miss how I'd make it light up different colours depending on who would message me.

I haven't heard that it will or wouldn't be; but messaging apps like Textra will enable you to change LED notification lights for different contacts.

Assuming you can control the colors in one of the many led apps I think it is fantastic!

Absolutely! I would also have different colors for each type of notification: Text, email, VM Etc. Great times.

Doesn't matter to me. I haven't used a notification light since the.. S4 / Note 4 days (if I'm recalling correctly).

Yep... it's also hard to see AOD from a distance.

All I see is an ugly notch and an LED so small that you'd barely notice it.

They have 3rd party apps that allow you to customize the color of each apps color...

The notch can be turned off. If you think about it, the V20 has a notch too, just on the top right. Smaller LED is better, consumes less power.

Cause' they took them out (not for Samsung though). Moto had it but it was turned off by Google because Google wanted to use their own thing.

Makes sense for the G7 since it's entirely LCD. The AOD on LCD isn't the best.

Not by default but you can download a 3rd party app that allows you to.. I've tried it and it works great, better than the default.
