I listen to music usually downloaded from Spotify with high quality earbuds. The Triple Driver set. And I can't tell the difference between HIFI quality and regular quality. Do I have to use over the ear headphones to notice a difference? Or is it a limitation on Spotify or something? Also I make sure to download the high quality version on Spotify.

The hifi dac is not activated unless impedance is higher than 50 oHms.
It uses the regular onboard mode.
You would need to find a RCA to RCA (male to female) adapter (or more like an extension cable, as a straight non changing (basically a tiny extension cable) adapter really doesn't make sense to be made normally) and plug that in by itself, then plug the main cable into it afterwards. The "extension" cable with an open connection would act as an infinite resistance (external) device.

Other things which can work (but are bulky) are iphone y-splitter adapters (which combine headphones and microphone cables into one plug), if that makes sense, or a regular splitter (which splits up headphones and mic into two different lines--usually used for computer connections where there is a microphone port).

Something like this would work for you.

(for some reason I can't post the walmart link but try htt `s`:`//https://www.walmart.com/ip/C-E-3-5mm-Stereo-to-Dual-RCA-Audio-Adapter-Cable-3-5mm-Male-to-Dual-RCA-Female-Red-White-6-Inch/775924310
    and remove the ` please.

This would also work but it's going to be a lot longer length.

If you have the 1more triple driver ear buds they should activate impedance mode. However regular Spotify doesn't have hifi music as far as I know. I think Spotify has an upgrade or you can get Hi-Fi music for more money a month. I know for a fact Tidal does. However High impedance mode is just going to be louder not necessarily clearer. Though the one more triple driver earbuds are fantastic.

Yeah they definitely are great quality I just thought I would notice a difference. And yes there is a HIFI download option I pay for Spotify though I'm not sure if I have to pay more to activate it. I just tried to turn it on and download my music after. I should probably look into that too.

How do I know if impedance mode is on, I plugged in my 80 ohms beyerdynamic headphones and I am not impressed at all, in fact my sony xb 450's sound better. I sold my axon 7 and the dac on that was explosive in comparison, I heard so much about this dac from LG, is it all hype or am I doing something wrong.

I'd say the problem is with Spotify. They claim that their audio is 320kbps but I've found it to only be 192 at best for many songs despite "very high" being set in the quality options. It's the reason why I've switched to Google Play /YouTube music. Night and day difference in quality over Spotify.
