LG G8 Pre-Installed Apps OS

I was at a store called The Source here in Canada and when I went to look at the LG G8's internal storage, the G8 said that it was using 120gs of the 128gs. Is it usually the case that the pre-installed apps and the operating system (OS) take up 120gs and only leave you with 8gs of internal storage before adding your own choice apps? Or is most of that 120gs used part of the mobile commercial advertising app to show off the LG G8? I know that you can slip in a 1 terabyte SD card in the SD card slot.

It's almost certain that people playing around with the demo model on the floor were installing various apps. For a 128 GB phone, the OS and any bloatware probably take up about 8-12 GB at the most.

My g8 currently shows 56gb free, and that's with 150 apps, all their data, a bajillion photos and dozens of videos present. Don't worry about it.
