On my LG K7 camera disappeared

I have a LG K 7 and up till a couple of days ago have had no problems switching from front facing camera to selfie or rear facing camera. All of a sudden I wasn't able to switch to selfie but there was still a camera icon at top of screen but it just stayed front camera. Last night the camera was there and now today no camera icon at all. I can take a front facing picture by just tapping the screen anywhere but not selfie. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to get it back to normal?

Does the problem persist after a Power Off & Restart?
If so, does it persist in Safe Mode?

If it does, the selfie camera may have become dislodged (maybe you dropped the phone), or it went bad. In either case, the phone would have to go to a repair shop to either have the camera plug reseated or have the camera replaced.
