Why can't I enter recovery mode?

why cant i enter recovery mode?

I have a LG L70 model # LGMS323 I tried doing an Update and My phone got stuck in a bootloop as a result. Iv'e been searching for days on how to fix the problem.
Iv'e been getting told i need to put my phone into recovery mode which for my specific phone you have to hold the volume down + power button until the LG logo appears then you release the buttons and repress them instantly until a white screen that says factory data restore then using the volume down key and the power button you click yes twice witch is supposed to take you to recovery mode but instead i get a screen that says deleting then it restarts back into the bootloop again. please help!!

Hi and welcome to AC Forums!

Have you tried a battery pull? Is that possible with the L70? Sometimes that will get it out of boot loops. Hope it works for you!
