Phone lost all juice. Gave it to the concierge to put on charger. When i get it back and turn it on,
    Enter PIN/password to decrypt
    30/30 attempts remaining
with the type field and emergency call.

I click on the typefield: Unfortunately, LG Keyboard has stopped. click ok. go to emergency call: Unfortuantely, the process com.android.phone has stopped.

Power button options: 'power off' or 'power off and restart'

    I can't enter download mode.
I can enter Safe mode, with the same options as above and no more.

I took it to carphone warehouse, where i got it under warranty, was told since the screen is cracked i'd have to pay to replace. that's fine whatever. then i was told i would have to ship it to LG for them to wipe it and return it to me.
    This seems a bit ridiculous.

Any help would be much appreciated.
I've tried freezing it and doing all the button punches that way with no avail. downloading santoku and will try to understand how i can do anything through RAM sniffing if that's even an option.
Not extremely savvy with software as much as i am with guitar pedals, so any help would do.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you know the decryption password, or did this come up unexpectedly?

If you know the password, try connecting a basic USB keyboard via an OTG cable in order to enter the password.
