yesterday I received my LG Optimus G Pro, which I have ordered at AliExpress.
The happiness soon was replaced by dissapointment. The Wi-Fi is not working at all.
While retrieving the IP address from my home network the phone automatically switches off the Wi-Fi. Immediately it switches back on and the phone tries to reconnect again. This loop repeats itself every 10 seconds. Even after updating to Kitkat it remained like that.
I recorded a (bad quality) video of it. Just search on Google/YouTube for
"LG Optimus G Pro (F240L) - Wi-Fi problem"
Is it a hardware issue? Or is there anything I can do about it?
Hard reset (Power+Volume down) doesn't work either.
It's the Korean F240L version, by the way. But I don't think it's related to that.
Quite a shame, because the rest of the phone is amazing. Really enjoy it. But no working Wi-Fi is a no-go.
