Disclaimer: I'm a BlackBerry Passport user and an avid CB forums participant but I haven't dealt much with this side of the mobile OS world. However, I picked up a LG Optimus G Pro from a buddy of mine to try and fix the issues he is having.
He installed an app by the title of 'LCD something...'. After installing this application he found the device unable to book past displaying the 'LG' logo twice and then the screen goes dark (not off...as it still has a hint of blue). The home button LCD lighting is still rotating inbetween colors too.
I've tried holding down the power button and volume keys to bring up the hard reset. After doing the hard reset it brings me back to the same issue. It's almost as if the LCD app isn't being deleted or the phone's OS is now missing.
Could someone help?
