Forgive a noob, but I have no idea how to do that. I found a text editor on the play store (jota), but what do I do next? Thanks for your input.

I've tried flashing this patch (using TWRP) and it's failed each time. I even downloaded it again in case it was a bad download and it failed. Any ideas? It's mainly frustrating because my home and menu buttons are swapped.

Any idea why it says "Android is upgrading optimizing application 1 of 1" every time when the phone is rebooted?

Is this a known Problem?

I installed [SCRIPTS]CronMod-A2SD/D2EXT/INT2EXT (updated 09/19) - xda-developers but my internal storage is still saying I have 170 mbs available and -12302385.00 bytes used. How do I fix this?

That's just the way the system displays available storage with a 2EXT script. You get used to it.

Depends what script is used.... INT2EXT or D2EXT both should display the sd-ext size. They actually mounts the sd-ext as /data instead of just linking everything.

I'm using A2EXT++. It worked correctly on BobZs ROM so I'm just wondering why it isn't here :-(

No it can't ... maybe a bad download also kuz after 10 mins my vibration stops working and phone doesn't vibrate till I reboot but it stops again

I had the same problem on the most recent kernel. Flashing back to Kernel 21 fixed it for me, and when I gave Kernel 33 a second try it replicated the problem. Not sure what's up there.

Need a few testers for alpha 19. Will require full wipes, and prefer sprint users, as no virgin support yet.

This sd-ext thing has got me in a tizzy. I can't update HD Widgets b/c it says 'Insufficient storage available', so in updating to 18c, I used CWM to format an sd-ext partition of 256MB with a swap of 0.

Do I now need to load one of these xda scripts [SCRIPTS]CronMod-A2SD/D2EXT/INT2EXT (updated 09/19) - xda-developers, or is one already implemented in the ROM?

I might be into this, especially if it would help my gmail whitescreen problem. I also have a 3g data 'goes away' problem and now a space problem (not being able to update HD Widgets, for example).

If the update would address any or all of these, I'd be into it.

The scripts are already in the rom. But you can replace those scripts with the ones linked.

Does it automatically run at boot or do I need to run it manually? Am I barking up the wrong tree with trying to fix the 'Insufficient storage available' message by implementing sd-ext? HD Widgets is a 20MB download for the update.

I have some time to test. I'm not getting as many fun photos as I was for a while, so it's not imperative that my phone be fully functional all of the time.

The built in app to sd-ext is automatic when you already have a sd-ext partition on a new install. It needs to be ext3 or ext4
