    Hello guys..

I have stumbled upon a glitch in thekraven's CM9 with Ice Cream Sandwich, but that's okay... all ROMs have certain bugs.

On Alpha2, when you plug your phone in (to any source), your phone will NOT display the charging battery icon or "charging" on the lockscreen. ICS is not recognizing that the phone is charging, but be sure that it is. All "Connect to Charger" messages should go away in normal charge time.

    SOLUTION:

To check your phones current charge in percentage, download an app from the market, customize CM settings to display percentage if you can, or navigate to Settings > Battery. This will tell you your current battery percentage. I know lots of CM users keep up with thekraven and are confused by this bug.

Kraven has worked real hard to port ICS to our phones successfully and he has done it. If you have a chance, go look at his thread. Keep in mind that the thread is for ZVD based basebands.

I figured I'd let y'all know of my delemia and figured that I'd post so others could see the solution.

I charged my device all night. It shows the charging percentage fine and charges fine for me. BUT when I awoke this morning my optimus was shut off AND I had to remove the battery to get it to boot up. The battery was fully charged however.

Mine did that too... except the battery wasn't full.. it had 6% left or so says ICS.

Can we alert kraven of this?

Sent from my LG-LS670 with CyanogenMod 9 and Ice Cream Sandwich!
