I uninstalled google voice, and it seems like ive been getting all my texts, thanks!


But now the camera wont install, i just get the "Application not installed" message

Are you using the 3.30 release? Just to check, use root explorer and go to system/app and see camera is there. check if it has the right permissions. reboot. Let me know if its still not working, I'll look into it tomorrow.

I took it for a test drive and it's nice. Not sure if it's a bug, or the MIUI design, or I'm just stupid, but I couldn't figure out how to display my apps (like one would do by hitting the bottom-center on-screen button in Froyo/Gingerbread).

miui doesn't have an app drawer.

Without gapps (google apps) you won't have the needed apps to connect to google !

I can't get the wifi tether to work. My laptop connects but it can't access the internet. I tried it on two laptops.

Wifi Tethering does NOT work in these MIUI builds.
