My Optimus S is ZVJ so I was downgrading to ZVH so I could root.

I downloaded the update.zip to my root folder of my sd.
put it in and rebooted in recovery.
None of the four options work. I chose it with the home button and the android character with the triangle with the exclamation mark.
I can press the home button again and they come back, but nothing happens.
Same thing without the SD card in there.

Need help.

I can't remember for sure which one but on zvj stock either home or menu is your select button. You said you have it in the root folder of your sd.. That should mean it's not in a folder right?

Since home makes it disappear, it should be Menu button to select options
