Stop native browser

I'm using Dolphin HD 6.0 and it is set to default but in many cases the native browser still launches, for example if I use the search app. In cases where Dolphin actually launches from a link the native browser is still launched behind it. Is there a way to stop this and actually have Dolphin act as the default?

If you are rooted you can use Titanium Backup to freeze or un-install the stock browser.
