LiveCD for saving Private Ryan (LG Optimus S)

My friend has a Droid X, which he had rooted and then got stuck in a boot loop. He used this LiveCD to flash back to the stock unrooted OS. Do you think you could help me find something that would do the same for LG Optimus S (Code named: Private Ryan)?

Interesting. Although, I don't see why it would be necessary. If you use a custom recovery, don't install ROM Manager or ROM Tools, are not TheRidge, and do a nandroid once in a while... you are not likely to encounter a serious boot loop on this device.

If you can get to recovery, you can use the update.zip files available on this forum to restore to stock rather easily. There are threads dedicated to performing the task.

Besides, with distros like PuppyLinux, you could easily create your own bootable stick with ADB and any tools, files, or scripts you may want to include. It could help you rescue a Windoze box one day, too.
