Can you activate a rooted phone on Sprint?

I am running gRom on my Optimus S. I am going to try out the LG Marquee that I just bought.

I am wondering if I have to go back to my Optimus will Sprint be able to activate it or will I need to flash back to the standard Optimus S rom and reactivate it?

You can activate it regardless of what ROM is on it. You just need the numbers that are on the back behind the battery. You can go online and activate it yourself if you like.

Cm7 doesn't pick up the activation update... Needs to be a sprint based rom...

So, grom is fine
