Anyone else have horrible battery life after the latest facebook update? I'm down to 6% after unplugging my phone 10 hours ago and it used to run until 10pm until it got that low. That is the only thing I changed lately

yeah the facebook update (once again) seems to be draining battery. It seems as though every other update they do causes a huge battery cluster and they quickly release an update.

I personally think this has to do with the new "push" updates

either they didnt use C2DM properly like gtalk does, they lied about it being push, or they used the wrong wakelock .... again.

I'm not motivated enough to find out the real reason. They pay people to do that lol

I turned all the notifications off. Hopefully it will help. At any rate, I need to the same for my wife's phone since the Epic 4G has bad battery life to begin with.
