Email notification, but no green circle....

Lately I recieve my email notifications, but when I go into my email there isn't any green circle with a number in it next to any of my accounts? I have to open each one to find out where the email is. I tried shutting phone off and battery out. Worked for a little bit, but doing same thing again. Any one else have same problem? Any solutions?

It's happening to me too. I'd be interested in a fix! I did remove/re-add my account, that didn't work. I am getting at least 20-30 false notifications a day.

I got tired of the stock email app within 2 days, switched to Maildroid...and it started having issues too.

I have now removed my non-gmail accounts from my phone. Major pain in the rear.
