I have owned lots of devices and phones. I know some batteries work better if you keep them charged while others work best when you run them down low and then do a full recharge.

    What is best?

I believe I recently read an article on gizmodo that explained smart phone batteries don't like to be drained completely.

Keep it charged as much as possible.

If you have to (for some reason) not use the phone for an extended period, drop the battery down to 40% before putting it in storage.
