LG Mobile Support not seeing phone

Hello, got my Optimus S back in Janruary. I am trying to Sync it to my PC and update it using LG's Mobile Support Tool. I installed the app and the 3 drivers it downloads under LGLS670 and it does not see the phone. I tried it with USB Storage set to On/Off but still no detection. The Autosync setting in the phone is on. Am I missing something or is there a problem with the app?
